Troll Lord

First Post
A disclaimer: I was fired by the rest of TLG from any art decisions after I announced we should put stick men in the books! In fact Bill and Clark (necro) and Davis (TLG) all happily fired me over a round beer in Vegas from art design or direction (hince the kick ass covers for Barakus, Vampires and Liches, Path of the Magi and Book of Names). So when I comment on art keep in mind I've been fired by some of the biggest names in the biz, AND my own company. LOL

So, on to your question:

The cover for the C&C PH is being 'assembled' right now (in fact this evening). Peter Bradley is the artist contracted for the work (you can see his work on his own website at http://ravenchilde.com/ or in our Castles and Crusades and TLG logos). I use the word 'assembled' because he and Davis (my co-partner hereabouts) are in Chattanooga for Chattacon right now and will spend the weekend finalizing the look and feel of the cover. My understanding is that it will be a stylized design, without any paintings on the cover of the two core rule books (C&C PH and C&C Monsters and Treasures). A number of modules have been laid out for which Erol Otus has been contracted for a few. Also, the long anticipated Castle Zagyg by the esteemed Mr. Gygax, will have covers by Rirk Sardhina (http://www.battleduck.com/pages/mainpages/folio.html).

Hope that gives you a little to ponder!

Steve
