Kit's Animals & Vermin + Templates = Sadistic Fun thread

Both the MM2 and Silverthorne Half-Troll templates change the original creature into the type "Giant," but I'm wondering if this time it wouldn't have been more appropriate to make it an "aberration," since the original Magical Beast is very much the shape of a spider

Lack of funds and such. It will be a long time before I have 90 bucks free to go at the books, plus there are still a few books I place on a higher priortiy. (Oddly enough Guide to Velociraptors is rather high on my list
