Knights of Badassdom actually getting released

No mention of which cut they are going to go with, director Joe Lynch's or the producer's.

There was already an earlier screening of the movie, which was a hastily put together version that the director had nothing to do with (and which I've understood was pretty weak).

I don't have any sense of which cut would be better, but my inclination is to want to see the director's original cut, since that's what the trailer was presumably based on, and the trailer is awesome!

I think they should release all of the cuts on a DVD. It could be a nice film school esque study on how a cut can change appearance.

Well, if you're expecting it to be Citizen Kane, you'll probably be disappointed, but as "Comedy Horror," it looks very promising. Plus: Peter Dinklege, Summer Glau, Danny Pudi, Steve Zahn!

You can't go wrong with geek icons like them. I'd see it just for that.
