Buckthorn, as you don't have the gem, and it takes a standard action to place it, you don't do that. You have also used trick shot, but make some attack that misses.

Allowyn, you lead your mighty assault and both you and Forge hit. Again, that odd vibe,less familiar to the warlord, is there.

Buckthorn and Sim have free basic attacks.

Sim hurls the magic javelin (51 AC and 33 damage with the +6). He moves the dead god south 1 square. On his next turn, Sim will give the elixir to Buckthorn.

Only the planar resist death. This time.

The being slashes forward with its scythe, the blade glows a horrid red. Blindness saves the dwarf, but not the warlord, who is hit all too easily. (39 dmg, 10 ongoing save ends).

He then side steps his confirmed enemies—he knows this chamber very well—and unleashes the pain of death on all—it matters not whether he sees you. Only Sim and All somehow resist its effects. (Buckthorn 46 dmg, Leandre and Forge, crit, 72 dmg, all ongoing 10 save ends). The hits on Forge and Leandre are so devastating, that I assume the Warlord does not waste his reaction.

All but Sim needs to save on their turn…and all have a penalty to do so.

On the scythe hit, (while he can’t wait to use his Shielding Aegis for the first time) Sim unleashes a Dimensional Vortex (IR – crit) and moves the dead god as far away as possible into the corner and orders it to attack itself (you never know it might work this time). This should negate the attack on the Warlord and he hopes that it may put as least some of his comrades out of the range of the nasty pain of death power.

He would of course have no idea about the pain of death power at that point..

Sim, you cast it away! It might even become entagled with its scythe…if that would do any damage to it…it then drifts back and does the big burst of pain.

Sim will delay until everyone has made their (death?) save or until the first one misses. He will grant the first one to miss an extra save (Swift Mender).

But as a free action from the darkness Sim calls out: Nerull, dread god of murder and death, we have come to do work that will please you. We come to murder and kill Acererack. The lich has corrupted your tomb, usurped your power and stolen your gems. Grant us leave to replace the gems and let us pass. We will kill the defiler in your name and give you vengeance.

Previous Round: For his free Ranged Basic attack, Buckthorn rolls a 36 to hit and does 28 damage if that hits.

Current Round: Buckthorn would use his Second Chance (if not too late) as an immediate interrupt to try to avoid the Nerull's death power.

As a minor he names Nerull as his Quarry.

He will fire at Nerull with Pinning Strike (30 to hit 1st arrow, second arrow is a crit for 69 damage and immobilizes Nerull until the start of Buckthorn's next turn).

Buckthorn fails his death save (roll 2) if Nerull still hits or if too late to use Second Chance.

Its pretty late for 2nd chance...he makes a devastating attack, (EDIT) and feels a jolt, (+5 to ongoing damage) with the strike. He does fail the save...Sim(?)
