With the valuables safely tucked away, Turthain readies his bow and takes his place BEHIND the others, ready to cover them with a barrage of arrows, should the need arise.

Door to the south

The stuck door opens to reveal a passageway extending to the south for approximately 50 feet. The passage is ten feet wide and twelve feet tall. There is a musty, foul odor in the passage, and a number of small piles of waste litter the sides. There are two doors leading off the passageway, one to the east and one to the west, both forty feet ahead to your south.

Shiyana covers her nose and grimaces at the "piles of waste."

"This is disgusting. But something obviously lives here.

"Let's try one of the other ones..." the druidess suggests. and proceeds to shut the door she's opened (unless someone objects/stops her).

 

[Leif]

Shiyana's word are almost interrupted by a rough gutteral voice from further down the passage that calls out in orcish, "Ach, you slimy wastrels, how go things on your side? Greeblak just caught a huge, fat rat that looks to be good eating. We'll trade him for some pipeweed and grog." Now you notice that the door on the west or right side of the coorridor is open just a bit. There is no immediate response to the offer.

Can anyone besides Turthain speak orcish? Yes, Shiyana.

OOC: I believe...<checks Rogues Gallery>...yup. Shiyana speaks orc.

Shiyana looks at Turthain with a nervousness across her face. She bites her bottom lip and shrugs her shoulders. She mouths the words "what should we do."

 

[Rhun]

Turthain turns toward the slightly ajar door, readying his bow. He whispers to his companions. "I suggest we take them out, quickly and as quietly as possible."

 

[Imperialus]

Cam raises an eyebrow towards Turthain and whispers back "We can try, but 'quickly' seems to be a challenge right now"

That said though Cam creeps towards the door, his throwing axe in hand ready to kick things off.

OOC: Note that no one but Turthain and Shiyana understood the words spoken in orcish, and neither of them stated that they were translating for the party. The rest of you, Camlin and Odo, just heard gutteral, not quite human voices speaking. And also note that there are rwo doors, Imperialus -- which one is Camlin approaching? The voice came from behind the slightly ajar door on your left, which is to the east.
