Mapping

I am looking for a freeware or shareware software that is capable of making decent looking digital maps for online gaming. I am not in need of the Virtual Table Top as I already have that. I am hoping to find something with a reasonable learning curve so that it is not daunting to learn, or barring that has a very good walk through for basic functions.

You may be able to use FreeCountry for this. The downside to FreeCountry is that I haven't gotten to selling the art packs for it yet, so unless you're an artist or already have some tiles you can use, it's not much use. You can get it from my site http://www.togamario.com/ (Requires .NET 2.0 Framework and the newest full DirectX installation from Microsoft's site)
