So I have this mad scientist/gnome wizard as an NPC in my campaign, and one of the PCs bought a set of fullplate armor from him that he'd been modifying to run as a clockwork automaton. I showed the group a picture of the Mark 1 suit from Iron man as a visual aid.
Well, a little while later, I decided that the wizard could make use of his previous modifications and add some more functionality to the suit. All of the suit's special abilities need to be recharged after their use, so they function alot like potions. However, the +1 upgrade allows for a certain amount to be replenished for free. This is what I came up with:
