Hey...

If a Mindbender (PrC from T&B) tries to beguile or dominate someone... they get a will save to resist.

Are they aware (after making the save) that something just tried to take over their mind? Or is it like a 'fire-wall'... You don't notice the intrusion until it is too late?

I would treat this like a successful save vs. a spell (see PH page 150). The victim feels a tingle or something similar and knows he has been attacked, but he does not know what the attack was.
