D&D 5E Monk and Druid "reviews"

Chaosmancer

Legend
With necromancy, there's no need to beat a dead horse. You can raise it, mount it and ride it hard into the ground!

Re: minor illusion. Care to share? What sort of things have you successfully used MI for? I'm starting a monk and am torn between Open Hand and Shadow.

I'm the DM, but the player has been trying to use Minor Illusion to fool people with voices. I feel a debate coming on with him over being able to perfectly replicate a bandit boss's voice to fool his minion for example, but he's latched onto being able to create any sound or object whenever he wants very heavily. Not sure how it will all hash out, as I personally feel Open HAnd is a bit better overall. Though the Shadow Monk Teleport is amazing (6th level ability)
