More killer spell combos

ES posted a thread on the Web+Black Tentacle spell combo. Cool stuff. In the same thread, Saeviomagy mentions Acid Fog + Black Tentacle.

What other spell or spell effect combinations have folks seen that work exceptionally well together (giving "synergy"?)

Fireball and Wall of force. :D

Or that explosive gas cloud spell from Rituals & Relics. Wonderful thing.

Fairie Fire/Glitterdust and some darkness of fog spell.

Flaming Sphere + Pyrotechnics + Dispel Magic + Sorc6 + Half-Ettin/Multiheaded template + Two head Casting Feat = One seriously blind large group of whatevers.

Calm Emotion/Enthrall + Invisibility = Allies sneaking past the tribe of orcs to free the prisoners/scouting out the layout.

basically any (movement restricting) spell combined with any (damaging spell) which normally causes problems if you can't get out of it

Good movement restricting spells include:
grease
Web
Black tentacles
Resilient Sphere
forcecage
solid fog
wall of stone/iron/force (shapeability limits reduce the effectiveness here)
Telekinesis (esp with new grapple and bull rush options)

enchantments that stop someone moving away could also be included:
hold person
confusion
hideous laughter
irrisistable dance
sleep/greater slumber/symbol of sleep

Good spells which hurt you a lot if you are stuck in them for several rounds:

Cloudkill
Wall of Fire
Acid Fog
Incendiary Cloud
Blade Barrier

Any combination of these kind of things can work together very nicely indeed.

- Briar Web and Fear/Scare
- Beetle Swarm (R&R 2) and Web, same for Insect Plague
- Web and Summon Undead IV, V or similar (Shadows, Allips, Wraiths )
- Confusion and Evard's Black Tentacles; also nice with Stinking Cloud or anything blocking sight to cause orientation roll - say Darkness, Solid Fog, Acid Fog...

ok, so much for "webbing" ideas

- Wall of Force and Control Water ( some initial amount of water needed ), works fine with confusion as well
- Blacklight and Summon Undead V ( shadows )

- Magic Jar and point blank-Fireball/whatever on possessed body (or, if permitted, that strange self destructive magic from Warcraft-setting ) if you can arrange to get the necessary material spell components (or have the Eschew Material feat ... ). If not, go for "Contagion", infect host body first, then anyone you can get your filthy hands on... Leave host body and let things proceed for some minutes

- Spectral Hand and Bestow Curse ( or Touch of the Eel from R&R 2)

- Kiss of the Vampire and Blink

- Wrack, Tasha's Hideous Laughter in combination with anything that deals continuous damage in a specific area (like Insect Plague, Bettle Swarm etc )

- Wave of Grief/Curse of Ill Fortune plus Phantasmal Killer

- Gedlee's Electric Loop or Sound Burst (which causes a possible Stun -> no Dex to AC AND a further -2 AC ) followed up by any difficult ( ranged ) touch attack (e.g. Enervation, Bestow Curse, Disintegrate ), or a ranged sneak

Mentioned in an earlier thread here:
Grease + Sneak Attacks (Grease causes balance chacks, which causes flat-footedness).

-Prismatic Wall(Ceiling) and Reverse Gravity: Pain.
-Dispel Magic (Item Suppressal) and Shatter: When you absolutely, positively have to destroy the [un]holy dingus which is uber-powerful and you don't have much time.
-Flesh to Stone, Transmute Rock to Mud, Soften Earth and Stone, Transmute Mud to Rock, Stone to Flesh: Ever wonder where gibbering mouthers came from? This truly is a "killer" combo. :D

Power Word Stun & Creeping Doom

Power Word Blind & Passwall (to create pits)

Ray of Enfeeblement & Ray of Exhaustion (saps the Str of the strongest opponents)
