Oh man don't get me started on control Wizards. In 4e I had a Wizard|Warlord and I loved it!

"You punch him."
*Points at ally*
"You punch him."
*Points at enemy*
"You punch him."

Nothing beats making a guy punch himself to death.

It's not a new concept. 2E kind of enabled it with new spells and specialisation rules. Using save or sucks with - 3 to - 5 on the save helps.
