Harper, Thyrsus mage

Harper hums harmony to the song and sighs when it is over. He peers out the windows into the darkness and then turns his attention to those inside the vehicle. He gives a noncommital grunt of acknowledgement when Law mentions the plot they are looking for. He glances at Agnasci when the spells are cast. Half afraid Agnasci was done with magic, or at least Penrose and his apprentices, Harper is glad when he showed up.
Harper chuckles at Chance though there is a nervous sound to it and he obsessively turns an old Barlow pocketknife over and over between his fingers. It had belonged to his grandfather and Harper had spent a bit of time lately sharpening it; the thin, worn blade would be a poor weapon but he was glad to have it in his hand anyway.
He reached down to the floorboard and picked up the plastic rain poncho that he had tossed there at the beginning of their trip. He had found the poncho at one of the those 'everything for a buck' stores and bought it because who knew how long this vampire had been buried. They might want something to cover it.
"Yeah, right. I thought the idea was to unbox it?"
Harper grins and slips from the Tahoe. He pokes his head back inside the vehicle. "C'mon. We toss the shovels over and then I'll boost you over the fence."
