A small humanoid with tan skin and flaming red hair in a loose topknot skulks out from the shadows in the southwest corner of the arena. It hastily cranks the handle on a small crossbow of ebony wood, then raises the weapon and peers down the sight. The wispling's crimson eyes narrow and it squeezes the trigger, sending a wickedly-tipped bolt whizzing through the air at the baboon.

Entering the arena at 30N0E and firing a crossbow at the baboon (+2 ranged for 1d8 damage).

Curse you, critical misses!

The wispling clutches the bleeding wound and falls to his knees. He looks up at the baboon and makes one final mischevious grin. He groans, and his face shimmers and contorts. Suddenly, the baboon is confronted with a leopard's head attached to a halfling's body. The wispling lets out a feeble attempt at a roar, and collapses to the ground.

Using the wispling's disguise self ability to look at much like a leopard, a baboon's natural predator, as possible. Then dying.

Entering the arena at 45N0E, moving to the baboon, and making a bite attack at +4 for 1d4 damage plus filth fever (DC 11).

The rat is defeated!

The snow goblin strides confidently into the arena and scans the arena with beady black eyes, searching for his prey. His gaze lands on the already-wounded baboon, and he swiftly yanks a javelin out of the quiver on his back, charges into range, and sends it flying through the air with as much force as he can muster.

Entering the arena at 70N0E, moving to 55N0E, and throwing a javelin. Ranged attack at +3 for 1d4+1 damage.

Frosty lets out a booming cry of anger that echoes through the entire arena. He pulls out his "morningstar" (which is actually just a wooden club with several bent nails driven through it at odd angles) and swats at the pesky bird.
