Have you thought about giving your PCs some action points?

If i run it again I'll use the action points and Gestalt classes.

I don't have the Hardcover, but the Dungeon Magazines. They all say that the adventures are for 4 PCs. From the numerous threads about the difficulty of this adventure path and from my own experience, I'd say that that was an error.
