Party is currently down to a Fighter, Paladin, and Rogue.
Hopefully, a warmage will be joining the group soon.
The group is sorely in need of a healer, but all classes are welcome (from select sources).
Character creation rules are on the messageboard.

A merge point for new players will likely be reached by the end of this week or the beginning of next week.

Character Creation Guidelines

Point-buy: 36; Level: 2
Class: PHB; Complete Adv, Arc, Div, War; EPH
Gold: 0 gp (specific starting goods will be provided)

Most of the House Rules:

Player Races:
Human: as written
Half-elf: as written
Sun Elf: elf as written in PHB except +2 Intelligence, no Dexterity bonus
Moon Elf: as written
Lightfoot Halfling: as written
Strongheart Halfling: halfling as written in PHB except extra feat at first level, no +1 racial saving throw bonus
Shield Dwarf: as written
LoreKeep Dwarf: dwarf as written except +2 Wisdom, no Constitution bonus
Rock Gnome: as written
Whisper Gnome: as written (Races of Stone)

No favored classes.
No multi-classing penalties.
Bonus Languages: Any Racial; applies to all races (example exclusion: Druidic).
No Alignments. Note: Alignment protection and detection work against creatures/beings with "Alignment" subtypes.
Bards and Sorcerers can change a known spell at each level increase.
A bard benefits from any bardic effects s/he creates (ex. Inspire Competence).
Monks and Paladins can freely multi-class (no restriction).
Option: No familiar
*Sorcerers get a bonus metamagic feat at level 5, 10, 15, and 20.
*Wizards gain a bonus metamagic, item creation, or Spell Mastery feat at levels 4, 8, 12, 16, and 20.
Skills that can be used untrained are considered class skills for all classes.

Item crafting does not cost experience; creation takes one day for every 2000 gp of the market price (magical items always take at least one day to make) and uses up raw materials costing half* of this price. *Values are set for open market, best price opportunity. Buying the materials in most markets exceeds half price value; but adventuring may lead to components, making the raw material “free”.

Deity Source: Complete Divine (some will be modified so ask what's changed before you pick 'em.

There are various other creature, magic, planes, etc changes that players will gain from character knowledge (Done to limit metagaming).
