There's three new FR Epic Destinies up at WOTC's site.

They seem pretty cool at quick glance, but I need to actually peel myself away from my work to read it.

"Mystic Sovereign" is so yoinked for my homebrew setting. "This Is Not My Fate" is one of my favorite epic destiny features yet, if only because it ends with the clause "and you stand up." I could hear the guitars wailing as I read the passage.

Yes. The Mythic Sovereign is totally cool! It should have made it into the PHB! That's downright cool, building a kingdom and being an Arthurian sort of legends (including the "moving on" section)!

I liked the article too - and I agree that the Mythic Sovereign is an excellent example of what to do with an epic destiny!

Awesome article,

The Elven High Mage is interesting, really like the fact that "High Magic" is now rituals.

The Mythic Sovereign is really nice, and easy enough to retheme to a defender of the realm.

I see they dumped alot of the iconic chosen characters so now you can make your own 'chosen of x deity' for yourself....
