Found the answer thanks to the hint above. This is for iOS...

1. When reading the adventurers league article tap in the screen
2. Choose the "email" option from the share options
3. Copy the url provided in the email body - in my case: http://bit.ly/1MKvMKS
4. Paste the url into a browser and load it
5. Scroll down to find the adventure download link
6. Tap on that and you'll get a copy you can use.
Thanks for that! Was able to get larger versions of the art that way than by taking screenshots of them on my phone.

So here's that pdf of Belaphoss. How does he compare to the generic balor in the MM?

A bit stronger which is what he is supposed to be.

If I use him I will give him an extra Great Axe attack along with a 500 foot teleport like I gave my Balors. (Other then the fact they use Longswords instead.)

I noticed a mistake on his sheet. His greataxe does 3d10 instead of the 3d12 it should.

I've liked some of the stuff I've seen in these Dragon+ issues, but my general impression is that the trans-media approach is falling short. Trying to be all things to all people is never going to trump the fact that D&D is a tabletop RPG.

But what use is the info if I can't just download it onto my PC with all my other prep? Am I supposed to write the info down on paper if I want to use duergar?

Please, oh please let us give you money so that you can hire people to write useful articles and nice little adventures.

The trouble with free is that we are getting what we pay for.

That's just repeating something you've heard somewhere!

There is a ton of great articles on blogs, websites, forums, etc. So free, does not mean bad.

And we're paying for this anyway when we buy D&D products, or do you think the money that produced this came from a pocket dimension of infinity money?

WotC is trying to cross promote and advertise all their products, how they are doing it currently is just painfully obvious, has little value and feels hamfisted. There have been D&D articles that promoted their computer games in the old Dragon, they weren't the best articles, but still light years ahead of what I've seen in the first three 'issues'. Imho the best way to get and keep folks attention is by keeping them interested, sure some people will adore the advertorials that are shoved down their throats. But it seems they all agree, WotC can do better and has done better.

I think part of the problem is that all the folks that did the old, old Dragon magazine are now working for the competition (Paizo, Pathfinder). What happened to the folks doing the 4E Dragon online? Laid off? Might be a case of reinventing the wheel...

Hrm, two free modules now for those complaining of the lack of small adventures. Game goodies in a new race. Various other bits and bobs. Not bad for free.

Stupid question for you. How can I go about getting that free adventure pdf onto my laptop? I can't seem to save it on my iPhone... I don't play in the AL so I don't really have a clue on where I might find this elsewhere to download.
