Rasereit Vundinn, Dwarven Barbarian

Rasereit comes awake groggily. He mumbles something indecipherable, then he says, "Kerrin. Ogrin? Ogrin. Ogrin, mate, where are ye, let meh see ye..." When he sees his halfling companion, he grabs his small hand in his and says, "Ah, there ye are. Thought Ah might not see ye again. But thank the Dog, 'ere Ah am!" Still sitting, Razh leans in close to Ogrin. "Ah'm thinkin' o' buyin' meself a shield though. Not sure Ah liked bein' so.... dead. Ye know? Anyhow, 'elp a mate up on 'is feet, eh?" Razh stands up and waves off the clerics, protesting that he's one tough dwarf that'll be needin' no more 'ealin' t'day.

Once he is explained the situation, Razh bows to Lord Pician and introduces himself. He has enough tact not to discuss the money, not yet at least. He accepts the lord's offer of hospitality, especially since there's food and drink involved. He's not so sure he wants to stand still for a coronation, but he says he'll consider it.

When the adventurers have a moment alone, Razh brings up the money. "So! Ogrin took a bunch o' 'its, and so did Ah, an' Ah'm thinkin' Ah dealt a fair bit o' blows meself, so 'ave we earned a full share, mates?" he asks. If they agree, he asks where they get the money. He also asks how many of them will be sticking around for the coronation.

"It is as I have said to Ogrin Brutalfist. You have fought with bravery and perseverance, Rasereit Vundinn, you and Ogrin Brutalfist both. You have shown me that you are equally deserving of the vhal from these deeds, and you shall each receive no less than any other."

"Thank you, lord Pician. We may all need some rest and recuperation after this ordeal. We have the written confession of one of the kidnappers henchmen, naming one Zachary, now deceased, and one Zidaniel, still at large, as the main culprits behind Niobe's abduction. Troi may know more about this Zidaniel fellow.

Unfortunately. none of us have the ability to contact souls that has passed beyond the dark veil of death, and thus we cannot find out more from this Zachary. If one of your healers have this power, we could escort him back to the town and see what else we can find out.

We have recovered a few magic artifacts from our foes that we intend to put to good use. If one of your mages could assist us in learning their true powers, we'd be much grateful."

"I can follow up with this later, but I will see about setting that in motion. With the corination in sight, I need only make sure that it is not stoped. Come, enjoy some dinner and you can rest. I would like to hear more about this Zidaniel fellow though."

Lord Pician will let you return to your rooms, freshen up, and get looked at by the healers before he has you get a summons that dinner is ready.

Jaan is in very bad shape, and the healers are doing what they can, but they are unable to revive him at the moment. (OOC: Jaan has the misterios MIA poisoning. He'll likely need continued treatment till Doghead returns ;). Yes I know it's not subtle, sue me. Lord Pician will take care of him till he heals, and cover said expenses. You can split the reward without him.)

Niobe joins you all for dinner as well. Cleaned up, and more calm, she is indeed a ravishing beauty, perhaps the most beautiful human any of you have ever seen. Even in a simple dress and little makeup, she almost glows with beauty. It is obvious to anyone that Pician and Niobe have strong feelings for each other, seeing the look in their eyes.

A wide array of food is at the table, and Pician allows you all to speak and eat at your own pace. He offers a toast to you all when the main course arives, but otherwise he listens more than he speaks.

OOC: Debriefing time, winding down, etc. If you go up a level, please deal with that now. We're not quite at post mission yet, but close. You can feel free to discuss treasure division, but beyond that, please try to keep it in character for the most part (or at least keep it from long string of OOC). Just a little more, and then the final wrap up. He will of course, pay you the agreed upon price as well, 20,000 GP I believe.

(OOC: I've already divided most of the other treasure evenly abovethread, and will finish that when we get the positive ID on the enchanted stuff (was it all just +1?). The 20000 will have to be split five ways for 4000 each unless we get lucky and Wil remembers his mysterious MIA oath that prevents him from taking a share :])

OOC: Yes, it's all +1. And given Wil ducked out durring the final battle, and warned me, I don't think he needs to be penalized any more. Or is lasair that greedy? :p But does she have anything IC to add at this point?

(OOC: Nah, she isn't--just checking ;)

So from the sale of the magic items (it doesn't look like anyone can use them), everyone from before can add 602.5 gold (this changes if anyone actually wants the rapier or a suit of Studded Leather--I'm assuming we sell it and split the proceeds).

Other than that, everyone then gets 4000 gold from the final bounty, and we're set!

Lasair wants to find Carsis to let him know she has succeeded, but if that isn't immediately easy, she will assume he hears about this event anyway, as it seems like big news, and she has nothing more major to add.)

(OOC: Okay, okay :p--I just like to get the numbers out of the way first so that it is clear without being lost)

*Lasair looks at the strange array of foods quizzically, but, since the Holdmistress has offered them her hospitality, it would be amiss not to partake, and so she eats what is presented her, but not all--it would not do to make her hostess seem stingy with portions by eating it all.*

"There is little to say of Zidaniel, except perhaps by Troi. He is a scoundrel who evaded us all on horseback. It seems he was likely working for someone, but that information was lost with his escape. Fortunately, your Holdmistress is now safe, and with Carsis in the clear and the situation resolved, your clan's vhal is restored. It seems we are done here."
