[Old Kingdom Games] Color Logo Open Call

Hi again - our second open call of the day!

Old Kingdom Games really, really needs to replace its rapidly put together logo - you can see what we mean on our website. That's what photoshop filters and 5 minutes gets me, but hey.

We're inviting artists to come up with a new logo for us. We're small press, so pay isn't fantastic. We will pay $75 for the job.

Here's some pointers for you:

• Preferably we'd like to work the company name into the logo but it should include a symbol, a shape, something to make it stand out as 'not just text'. That, we could do ourselves (see poor example on our website)
• We're flexible on colours, feel free to use our website as guidance if you wish though
• The company name is not a reference to 'fantasy' or 'historical' but to where we are from (the UK) - here's the kicker, we'd like to avoid the usual suspects of 'sword and sheild', 'UK flag', 'anvil', 'generic fantasy imagery'. Our first book is a set in a near future earth with characters pursued by their nightmares made real.
• We do not consider ourselves tied to any particular genre, so please bear that in mind
• We will retain rights to use the logo in whole or in part as we need
• The logo does need to be in colour

Other than the above, we're flexible - and we'd love to see what you can come up with.

If you are new to this but think you can deliver, let us know why and we'll add you to the list.

We prefer to pay via paypal if we can, and payment will be 50% upfront and 50% upon receipt of the final logo.
