I have been there longer than here and have yet to see but a tiny fraction of threads turn into flamewars. Some have run for tens of thousands of posts (in TTO) and haven't degenerated into poo flinging. Tangency can run hot, but that is to be expected since very little is disallowed in terms of topics- religion and politics can drive people up the wall. But even there, there are tons of interaction that is calm and collected.

As for Palladium, I doubt the mod here want to deal with that (though I have seen some doozey stuff about them).

I was initially unhappy about the seperation of d20, but since then, i've come to terms. Frankl, between here and rpg.net, I have my full day's worth of gaming posting.

I'm still waiting for them to fix the "disc error"

I like the separate d20 forum. It really helps the threads stay on focus and the anti d20 element mostly stays away.
