Vegas. The name just brings so many images along with it. Fortunes won and lost here. The World’s Playground. But Vegas on a fight night; a heavyweight championship fight is something else.

“And so Damian Grant defends his WBA title versus the European sensation Sebastian Von Rul. Grant carries his undefeated 33-0 record with 24 KOs into battle against the mysterious Von Rul.”

Jed turned up the volume on the television monitor as Infinity began to bring up the last of the camera angles. It was mighty nice of the MGM Grand’s director of security to owe the Archer Foundation a favor like this.

“Yes, Bob. Von Rul is an unknown quantity. Nearly nothing is known of this boxer. He appeared on the boxing scene just six months ago and has devastated all nine of his confirmed opponents. Grant had better not take him lightly or the champ might walk out of the MGM without his title.”

Shadow has seen and heard enough. With only 30 minutes before the round one bell the team needed to get into their positions. He slammed the door to the KTNV Action News van and proceeded to the casino floor leaving Jed and Infinity inside.

About at the same moment, Ferret already undercover, pulled a limo into the VIP underground parking section. His cargo – the popular rock band – Questions for Carlos. He adjusted his ear piece as the band began to unload.

Shadow entered the casino floor. About 50 yards away Lancelot exited the elevator in his trademark tux. With Russian supermodel, Valeriya Kiselev, on his arm he casually strolled to the arena to take their 3rd-row seats.

Infinity zoomed in on the couple. Once again Lancelot has drawn the “difficult” assignment.

 

[Shenanigans]

Pulling out a cigarette, carefully avoiding the two cigarettes with blue bands around them, Lancealot lights it. Turning to his companion, Lancealot nonchalantly remarks "I do hope that this european chap beats the American. Care for a smoke?" Lancealot keeps his eyes peeled for their target and anyone who looks like they are doing something that isn't right.

[Festy_Dog]

"Enjoy your evening gentlemen," Ferret tips his hat to the members of Questions for Carlos as they get out of the limo.

He looks out through the tinted windows at the parking lot.

Once he's the only person left in the limo he speaks, "Ferret here: Cargo's dumped, and no sign of the target at this point."

Ferret sits back, and keeps a vigilant watch.

 

[Velmont]

Dominic enter the hall. He quickly see the man he knows as Lancelot with a lovely girl. He quickly put his eyes away of him, and put his glasses. He start to look in another direction.

"Nice lady, you'll need to present some of her friends to me."

He scans the crowd.

"Still no one to shadow. I think we will have to look in the changing room. He may have arrived earlier than we expected."

Dominic continue to scan the crowd.

"Well I don't know about that Max. Damian Grant, I believe, is without peer in the boxing world. Has he really been challenged? His face is on the cover of nearly every magazine. His video game is at the top of the sales charts. And he has Hollywood actresses throwing themeselves at him. Life is good if you're Damian Grant."

@ LANCELOT: As you make your way to the arena, Valeriya declines your cigarette offer. Knowing her as you do, she probably wants something to drink instead. No one you can see is standing out. People just enjoying themselves at the casino. Others slowly making their way to the arena if they are lucky enough to have tickets.

[OOC: If it wasn't obvious already, everyone has ear pieces to communicate and Infinity runs the whole show from the news van.]

@ FERRET: The band files out with some roadies in tow. The band leader also tips you a cool $100. The VIP garage you're in contains all sorts of luxury and sports cars. A growing fleet of limos is also present dropping off the rich and famous. You've managed a secure a desireable to spot where you can see most of the garage, including those exiting and entering.

@ SHADOW: Nothing noteworty for you at this time.

[OOC: Jackson is a black male, in his late 20s. Most likely is with Grant in one of the dressing rooms. Whether he will sit at ringside or a luxury box is unclear. But he should at least accompany the champ down during his introduction. Lancelot with his great seats will have an eye on all that happens ringside. Ferret has the parking taking care of. Most likely Jackson's vehicle is located there. And as Pointman you're free to go wherever you think is best.]

"So stay tuned. After our this commerical break, we'll attempt to penetrate the mysterious shell of Sebastian Von Rul. Why is this man so popular in Europe? Where did he come from? Those and many other questions will be our focus when we return."

 

[Velmont]

"I am going for the dressing room. You're badge is better to be good, Infinity."

He takes out of his pocket two smalls items. The first one is a badge that looks like the security badge of the hotel. He clips it at his vest. With his dark glasses, he looks like now a security agent of the hotel. He looks at the second item. It is a small envellop containing a small words and a business cards. On the envellop, it is possible to read Jackson's name. The small word say:

Our business is very interested to speaks with you Mr Jackson, and with Mr Grant, for a promotionnal for our products. Our industry would benefit of the visibilty that Mr. Grant can give us. The possibilities are wide are profitable, I hope you will think about it. I leave you my card, so you can call me.

On the Business card, we can see the logo of a publicity agency. It is written:

Seeing he has all that he needs, he walks to the dressing room.

OOC: The security badge, I suppose Inifinty would have Forge it, and if he had time, he would had taken some times.
The cells phone number is the one Dominic is carrying.

"Do we have intel on the target's vehicle and number plates? I may be tempted to go for a walk," Ferret asks Infinity, "Also, what's security camera coverage like in the parking lot?"

He shifts in his seat, looking across the ceiling for cameras that may be in sight.

 

[Shenanigans]

Getting drinks for himself and his supermodel friend, Lancealot speaks softly into the earpeice "I've got nothing down here. Once the fight starts the two rows infront of me will prevent me from seeing anything except the ring."

 

[Mordhiem]

"So, Ferret, you tell the band how crap they are like I told you too?" Infinity grins as he anticipates a hail of either laughter of abuse "The last time they were good, people were graffiting the Berlin wall."

"I am going for the dressing room. You're badge is better to be good, Infinity."

"Don't worry, it'll be fine. I used to use exactly the same device in my mum's bag. Never failed tracking her."

"Yeah, target's vehicle is XXXXXX and the plate number is XXXXXX. As for the CCTV's, well I got pretty much complete coverage although there are some blindspots. I can see every entrance and exit though."

OOC: I presume we know Jackson's vehicle and number plate?

With that, Infinity scans the various TV monitors that are piled up on the table infront of him looking for any sign of anything unusual. (Spot +6)

"Undoubtedly, my voice is hoarse from yelling abuse at them," he jokes, "And I even left a present in one of the guitar cases, dunno whose."

"Yeah, target's vehicle is XXXXXX and the plate number is XXXXXX. As for the CCTV's, well I got pretty much complete coverage although there are some blindspots. I can see every entrance and exit though."

He removes his chauffeur hat and adjusts his outfit to look less driver-like.

"Let me know if you can see his vehicle on the security cameras. I'm gonna see if he left the package in it," Ferret says as he gets out of the limo.

He clips a police scanner to his belt, with police and casino security channels programmed into it, and covers it up with his jacket before going in search of Quincy's vehicle.
