A few notes -
While this copy attributes the writing to Jim Theis, this is a matter of some debate. Nobody is really sure where the story came from.
Now, if you want to have fun with the Eye of Argon...
Get a bunch of freinds together - don't get drunk (yet), as this is more fun sober. Sit 'em down with two copies fo the text. Take turns reading the story aloud exactly, making no corrections whatsoever. Pronounce the misspellings, don't edit at all. This is much, much harder than you might think. Have someone else reading along silently in the second copy, to judge when an "error" has been made in reading.
The winner is the person who can read the longest passage without correcting the text, stopping, stumbling, or cracking up laughing.
Really, don't do this drunk. You might hurt yourself.
