Now to study the wild magic table.

Now, I don't want to get too excited, but it looks like they aren't using 2nd person for the text. We may be back to 3rd person, people.

Never give up.
Never let down.
Never run around and desert.
Never make cry.
Never say goodbye.
Never tell a lie and hurt.

It looks like theres a bit of italicized flavor text in italics at the beginning of the Warlock entry. Can't read much of it, but it seems like a neat thing to do.

I hope it's not as cheesy as the one liners in the class entries of 4th edition. Those were pretty eye roll worthy. (In my own opinion.)

The wild surge table uses 2nd person.

Somehow, that's never bothered me. In the prose section on a race or class it bugs the tarp crap out of me.

I think it's because a table is, literally, telling me what happens to me/my character. If I'm looking up the Warlock and it says, "as a warlock you..." I may not be playing a warlock. I may be reading as a DM. Don't tell me how I feel.

/deep breath
