Reading them over, I'm pretty impressed. I like that Paizo is making a lot of their base classes have choices for things that change a number of their powers per level (e.g. sorcerer bloodlines, cavalier orders, etc.). That's a great design idea to make sure all members of the same class aren't so similar.

I wonder how long it'll take until we see the new cavalier order called Order of the Stick? ;)

Cavalier has major issue with rogues. He gets sneak attacked whenever he challenges an enemy.

Oracle is pretty cool, but some Focus powers are better than others. Firestorm is forever 1/day, but Blizzard is at will (no listed use a/day). Granted, Firestorm does double what Blizzard deals, but since you can use Blizzard again not a big issue.
Thunderstorm is Firestorm but multiple uses/day.

Starbuck, these sorts of observations are exactly why we have a playtest. Thanks for catching the revelation bits.. it is something I am looking into.

yes and it makes for great expansion later with new bloodlines, rogue talents, rage powers, foci, etc etc etc

I think I'd go for a deaf oracle, based on the fact that the only real downside I can ever think of for being deaf was the spell casting penalty, but since you cast as if you had the Silent spell feat, I see no problem. And I suspect from the DM perspective they'll eventually forget any penalty to awareness or perception.

On first blush, I was surprised how good the Oracle looks (not in a mechanical dominating way but in an imaginitive niche filling way). Good work!
The Cavalier however was the opposite: I think it needs a little more work - I'm not too sure that the Oath mechanics are as good as they could be. It's always going to be hard to do the whole mounted specialist thing - I just think this one needs a little more polish is all.

I'll try out a couple of enemies in my upcoming Age of Worms campaign where both these classes could be interesting.

Yeah, as I said on the Paizo boards, the Cavalier didn't do much for me.

I love the oracle concept, though, and I think it will make both a neat PC and NPC class.

I think the Oracle needs more curse options that don't involve physical disabilities. The blind oracle, lame prophet and so forth are great old archetypes, but if all or most of the curses are being cursed with a qualification under the Americans with Disabilities Act, I think it has some unfortunate implications as to the nature of disability. Haunted is a good one, but how about reviled or lonely or disbelieved?
