D&D 5E Planar Binding

After one hour cast... do you really want to argue about 1second? Do you really prefer the conjure elemental spells to read: Duration one hour and 6 seconds? Is one hiur a mystical time frame that is so exact that 1 second will disrupt the casting of planar binding. IF you want to be an ass you are clearly violating wheaton's law.

You are not listening Mecha - I don't have a problem with story.

But if you rely on story, why the spell?

Everyone on this thread gets that you are unhappy that planar binding is now a situational spell. It isn't like it is the first or even the 50th situational spell in D&D, but situational doesn't equal worthless or impossible to use, it just means it is chartreuse instead of pink polka dot on some arbitrary listing of how valuable spells are.
