lol...Alpha is so full of BS I'm almost ashamed to play her. :)

That said, these gambits really only work at low levels, when that kind of damage is potentially lethal. She's down to 8 HP now. If you survive this round, you can probably kill her.

Nope, did not survive the round. Wow, even when she gets hit she damages you and the damage rolls are brutal at this level. Nicely played.

I'll come up with a level 3 character for the next area.

Best of luck!

Yeah, the 17 on backlash was a lucky hit.

Fighters are really tough with their action surge and their second wind! This design is all about the inescapable damage, but fighters can tank it well enough to close in...and Alpha has no answer for someone being in melee with her.

But she is learning. She is growing.

Can anyone stop her before it's too late??

Hehe. The trick with Sleep is that you don't WIN with it. You still have to kill the target.

It gives you a free shot though.

That said, wizards ARE a perfect storm against Alpha. They have really good Int save (and honestly, who else has that? No one!) and can answer her BS inescapable damage with BS inescapable damage of their own. And theirs scales better.

The trick would be...can you magic missile her down before she psi blasts you down? Wizards have the low HP thing to worry about.

Then again, wizards also have a lot more tricks up their sleeves.
