I think it is bad that they didn't include the eroticist in the Shelzar sourcebook.

After all, there are some NPCs with levels in that prestige class in the sourcebooks, but all that it says in that book is that one can find it in that players guide- a book that hasn't even been published yet! :(

I really can't think of any reason not to include the prestige class in the Shelzar sourcebook, except for having one more "exclusive" prc for the new player's guide. And even though I understand that S&S wants to avoid printing the same information in several books, like WotC frequently does, I still think it is disappointing.

I gotta say the Angel-blooded sounds really cool. That PrC looks like a huge campaign hook right there! :)

I wish this was in the stores now. I'm currently working with my DM to come up with a PrC for my Sorceror/Bard, and this looks like it would fit perfectly with his celestial heritage. Don't think I can hold out until July though. :(

Bard gets the shaft again?

Adept of Flame: W/S
Angel-blooded: S
Blessed of Mesos: S
Demonologist: W/S
Voice of Sumara: S
Japhinian Dynast: S
Slaver of the Dead: W/S
Moonwitch: W/S

Keeper of Epics: B
Master Cabalist: B?
High Chorister: B
Rage-bringer: B
Shelzari Eroticist: B?

Well, maybe the bard gets the shaft. Part of the problem with having a book with three classes is that much like Song & Silence, the focus can't be everywhere at once. Does this look about right for PrC intended classes?

There was kind of a reason for that Lars. When Shelzar was being written (and I'm basing this on what Joseph said a while ago.), they fully expected the Player's Guides to be out well before Shelzar. Then came 3.5. Thus they pushed the Player's Guides and Creature Collection Revised back to fit in. Now Dave Brohman told others that in the initial drafts they removed any mention of it in the book. But some how it got back in. So sadly that upset a few people.

Joe,

Actually Master Cabalist is more of Wizard specialist. (I say that since it's probably using the Cabalist feat from R&R2.) Moon witch also (I believe) might be used by multi-classed clerics of Belsameth. (After all she's the Goddess of the Moon.) But we'll see when the book comes out. Besides I'd like to see what they did with Mike Gill's section of the book, especially in light of the changes to bard in 3.5.

I'd say that five out of 13 prestige classes is hardly shafting the bard. :)

Honestly, if anyone got shafted, it's the wizard. The only correction I'd make to your list above is Slaver of the Dead is pretty much wizard only, given that one of their prerequisites is Spell Mastery (which must include animate dead).
