Hi everyone –
Some of you may have read the recent coverage of Therapeutic RPG games on sites like Geek & Sundry and Kotaku. We are two professional mental health therapists/gamers who would like to bring this type of counseling to the Portland, Oregon area.
We are very interested in giving our clients the space to use their RPG skills to improve their lives. To that end, we’ve developed a pilot project that we’re calling Lifecraft Gaming, and we’re putting together our first gaming group as a trial run in preparation for when we make our service available to the general gaming public.
The games are designed to improve a player’s IRL mental well-being in a fun way, and we need help with our first game. In exchange for feedback from our test gamers, we’ll be offering our professional services for free for the duration of the campaign (about 8 weeks).

We’ll begin screening applicants the first week of January 2018, and then we’ll meet with each of our players individually to work on character creation. We hope to begin our eight week campaign by the end of January.
