Uh... you do realized they already tried that back during the 1980s and it ended with the baby being flung out into the pacific ocean where it was devowered by a great white shark.

Hmm... Baby rail gun...

In a world where a single person can routinely break conservation of energy, you're worried about a billion plus people being co-ordinated enough to break the speed of light?

Seriously, dude, too much time on your hands.

That, or he's lightly poking fun with some tongue-in-cheekiness...

This could never have happened in 3e, because the Paladins would have needed to atone.

Remember 186,000 miles per second, it's not just a good idea, it's the law.

And exactly how have you determined c in the PoL setting?

Please choose the answer that you find funniest:

[sblock=Door #1]Carefully[/sblock]
[sblock=Door #2]Asked Pelor[/sblock]
[sblock=Door #3]Created a human wizard with 20 intelligence, got his intelligence up to 30 with leveling and magic, had him construct a finely-calibrated apparatus consisting of a couple mirrors on one mountain peak and a rotating cube of mirrors on another peak. A light is shined on the cube as it's rotated, bounces off the mirrors on the other mountain peak, and hits the cube again. By adjusting the speed of the cube's spinning so that the reflected light is brightest, my wizard was able to deduce the speed of the light.[/sblock]

Looks like someone failed a Sense Motive check......wait a second........what is it called in 4E now? (I'm so not up to date with this new edition! :D )
