Since your gaming group consists entirely of professional writers, how loose are you guys on homebrew material? Is it fairly common, since you know everyone (hopefully) has a good eye for balance by now, or is it just the opposite where you don't want a whole bunch of extra work so you stick to books only?

Monte Cook: -Well, I don't know. Oh yes, The Orc and the Pie turned out to be a disappointment. The plot was too intricate, the opposition too powerful and quite frankly - it could have used some dungeon dressing.
