Gideon steps in, ready to start the familiar dance as he and Tor go to work on Drezel. He jabs at Drezel with a quick strike.

Gideon stabs out at Drezel but fails to connect with the wererat.

Fimble and Babette both use their daggers to ward off Drezel and draw his attention from their more well-armed companions. Drezel manages to avoid the sorceress but keeps a wary eye on his fellow gnome.

Round 27:

Fimble takes a step back from the thrashing wererat. Tor isn't having any luck with his melee attacks, so Fimble decides to use his crossbow. "Azwan, sorry about the impersonation, really, just let this one fly true!" As he mumbles, he slips his dagger back into its sheath. Quick as lightning, a silver bolt comes out of the quiver and into his crossbow. It zips (6) between all combatants ineffectually. With a huff, Fimble looks upward, "I said I was sorry!"

OOC: 5' step back (free), sheathe dagger (move), load crossbow (free), fire crossbow (standard), curse the gods (free...)

Round 28:

(if Drezel closes the distance...) Fimble backpedals another five feet.

He loads another bolt into his crossbow. "Come on, come on... Last one, come on..." He fires. He misses. He curses. "Running out of options here!" He draws his silver dagger again.

ooc: Actually, aren't we like halfway between town and the docks? The town watch is quite a ways off. The only help around here are the wagon drivers.

OOC: Yep, we're out in the countryside, so no luck with the local authorities. *puts on best Judge Dredd voice* WE ARE THE LAW!

Drezel, ducking and dodging the swings from Tor and Gideon, lashes out with his teeth at Fimble once more. Fimble easily avoids the wererat.

Metrius begins to load Otto's unconscious body into the carriage, instructing the carriagemen to keep an eye on him as he's a wanted man.

Tor continues to swipe at Drezel with his scimitar, but Drezel manages to avoid the wild swings.

Gideon stabs forward once more, scratching Drezel's shoulder but failing to penetrate his armor.

Fimble steps back, draws and loads his crossbow, and fires. His hurried actions throw his aim off and the bolt buries itself in the ground at Drezel's feet.

Babette, yelling and swinging wildly, manages to draw Drezel's attention to herself for a moment.
