Ranger and Heavy Blade Opportunity

vhailor

First Post
A ranger took Heavy Blade Opportunity feat and uses in his turn the Hit and Run at-will.
If an opponent triggers an opportunity attack, can the ranger use again Hit and Run again, so he can move again, or he just attacks without moving?

Hit and Run doesn't make you move (like Frenzied Skirmish, for example), it just prevents the OA for moving. The ranger would just attack. ;-)

Hit and run specifies if you move in the same turn as the attack you don't provoke Opportunity attacks (OA) from the target. If you used Heavy blade oppurtunity on an OA, and then later got to move during that same turn, that movement would not provoke an OA from the guy you hit with 'hit and run'.

This is almost certainly not going to come up much, because more often then not it will be the targets turn anyway, so if you moved he couldn't OA you anyway, since its his turn...
