Faiths and Pantheons had a PrC named Doomguide, members of an elite order of clergy of Kelemvor. They had an ability called "rite of passage" that let the priest lay someone to rest in a manner that greatly decreased the chances of the person rising as an undead. Has a similar class or ability been featured in any 3.5 books? The closest things I've found to the flavor I'm looking for are Hunter of the Dead from CDiv and Sacred Purifier from Libris Mortis.
