The Way of the Yakuza provides rules for PC yakuza members, for opposing NPC encounters, and while specifically a Japanese style crime organization, with some change-ups in the included class archetypes, this book could effectively create any crime organization from Mafia styled groups to nonhuman smugglers - so its more than just a Japan-esque faction.

There is an archetype for blind bards called the Moso - think of a bard with the Oracle's blind curse, but with the ability to effectively fight hand to hand based on sound alone. Aside from two types of rogues and a fighter archetype for yakuza, the other of the more interesting class builds is the Horimyo (tattoo wizard).

Perhaps the best part of this product is the gang stat-block. Using the GMG city stat-block to base upon, a gang stat-block allows GMs to create custom yakuza gangs with their own focus, wealth, smuggling limitations, attitudes, goals and aptitudes to be effective smugglers, gamblers, pimps, drug pushers, loan sharks and all the other common and uncommon activities of a criminal group.

The last part puts this part in practice creating a custom yakuza gang operating a mountain smuggling operation having taken over a village - the comes complete with its own keyed map, and adventure seeds. Almost an adventure in itself...
