This is my unboxing of the December 2016 Mythoard RPG crate. This is the first Mythoard packaged by a new team, and you can see the difference. https://www.youtube.com/watch?list=PLwKqJS-qk8Ztj0mSUEl-a_qCOVN6CUgpt&v=MLVpma7O79Y

Jarrod Shaw explains some of the changes coming in Mythoard in the latest newsletter:

MYTHOARD 23 will be the very first hoard that isn't packaged up by me and the fam at our house. Instead, it will be the first to be boxed by the new team! As you can imagine, there's a lot involved in this transition. However, the physical box for 23 is geared up to ship right away!

Video summary:

Mythoard 23 Contents:
Checklist & cardstock mini adventure w/random table.
Creature Components Pathfinder book. What's useful from creatures for spell components. Likely useful for other fantasy games. Probably 48-64 pages?
Ponyfinder Pathfinder compatible adventure. 36 ish pages.
Judges Guild Traveller Logbook old school 1979. 30 ish pages/
Judges Guild Traveller referee screen.
Broken Bridge Mill Adventure card. 5x7"?

Is pathfinder & Old School the new direction or just what they could put together this month? Talien just asks the question of the reader. He doesn't have an answer and doesn't say if he's asked Jarrod of Mythoard. I'll shoot Jarrod a message and ask. Looking at the Mythoard website and the list of publishers coming in #26, we see Frog God (so maybe 5e or Old School content), MithrilPunk (5e adventures/resources?), Knights of the Dinner Table (could be any system, but mostly old school), Bad Mikes (more Old School), FG&G (no idea, maybe For Gold & Glory, 2e rules based on google searching) & Shattered Pike Studio (no idea, maybe mini-dungeons based on google searching)

The video is nice to give an idea of the sizes and the art, but the above would just as useful--and in some ways moreso.

I cannot speak for other publishers or Mythoard in general but speaking for Mithrilpunk: #25 has some of our digital 5e content (and we did the checklist) and #26 has a hard copy of one of our products. All we do (so far) is 5e.

I'm not sure if they'd include another digital copy of the FG&G rulebook in #26 considering it was in #24 i believe (based on the folder number I keep the digitals in).

I'd say the content, based on the last 10 or so boxes, has been 50% OSR, 20% Pathfinder or similar, and 20% misc other stuff, and almost always 10% being some old Judges Guild product from Bad Mike's. Which is one of my wife's favorite parts, since it's almost all from before she was born.
