Manous rides next to the wall, leading Wilhelm's and Lucien's mounts, thinking they can, in true swashbuckling fashion, each leap from the wall into the saddle so we can make our escape!

Lucien carefully follows Wilhelm.

She opened the back door and gave a swishing, flourishing bow to the priest. Then she waited, rather expectantly, for him to call out. This would work better, she thought, if the church knights were already closing in before she made her getaway...and it might give the other Hounds a distraction to escape as well!

The priest stops mouth half open for just a heartbeat before he decides to call to his companions at the front of the house where the clatter of hooves and the cries of frightened horses can be heard. "'Ware, they are here," he calls.

In his excitement the old man forgets he is no longer as young and spry as he once was. He nearly falls when his foot lands on a patch of moss and his stumbling recovery draws attention to him. Lucien, only paces away, moves with silence and finds an opportune shadow.

Seeing that the element of surprise is gone, the Paladin brings horse up close so that Lucien and Wilhelm can drop into the saddle.

Seeing Tabitha slink by, Ali is somewhat surprised, so he stands up and downs the rest of his wine. Strolling to a side door, he changes to a sprint at the first shot fired. Where to go?, thinks Ali. Looking around,

The group is gathering at the rear of the Inn and seems intent on a cross county flight to continue the mission.

Ali sees the group gathering and changes direction to the stable for his mount. Arriving there, he sees that his mare is giving the poor stable boy fits as she saw the other horses led away. "I'll take her, boy! Move back!" Throwing the saddle over her back, Ali mounts and rides out towards the back of the establishment.

 

[Shayuri]

Tabitha waits a second longer, then spins and kicks at the bottom of the shelves...turning and fleeing out the door as the boards collapse sideways and spill books and knickknacks and oak planks across the doorway in her wake.

"Farewell, Knights of the Temple!" she calls behind her as she circles around towards the stables. "Tell your master not to worry...he'll be seeing us soon enough!"

Lucien mounts his steed, and prepares to ride off into the moonlight.
