Opening the door you see a wall opposite ten feet away. Looking to the left the passage continues south for 20' and then opens into a larger space. The guard area that dominates the space is blocked from the cellblock by an arc of iron bars. Within sits an old wooden table and a few chairs. Turing right you see that the passage immediately opens into a large area. Wooden benches once lined this large hall, but several are now stacked in a jumble and others are overturned in disarray. Weakened by fire, the entire east wall has collapsed away, creating an unintended entryway to a wooden deck beyond. The view of the lake beyond would be beautiful if the silence were not so eerie. Nothing is moving here.

Dannis steps right into the area that was once a mess hall. Falco follows closely looking about and the others fall into their accustomed positions. A flutter of movement draws everyone's attention. Three small creatures combining the worse features of bats, birds and insects rise from the rubble to the East. They look hungry as they start flying toward you.

OOC: Initiative please. Post an action if you beat a 14. I included everyone, but Lou and JA haven't exactly been active of late. We'll hope the action draws their attention.
