By understanding why you were affected along with all the Dragonmarked, we can begin to understand what is going on here. You are of the Argonessen if I remember from before in the tavern...Argonessen...Dragonmarks..Draconic Heritors...Aha! Before I thought that it might be some sort of inter-house politics where one house was trying to get an advantage, but now, I think it has something to do with the dragons! This could be dangerous, but surely this mystery will be a tale to be told for many years."

Kenn stands up and follows Silvanon.

"Well, if you're going to go dashing about in shadows, old chap, I hope you don't mind if I come along."
Kenn smiles cheerily.
"I have a certain love of shadow, so I'm very comfortable there. I've got a bit of a sword over there, so if something needs a vigorous poking, I can oblige it.
Also, I'm very hard to lie to.

Most pressingly, with no absinthe here, I may as well die heroically as wither away waiting for the good stuff."

"Perhaps because I am a chosen of my tribe," Arvin offers.

OOC: On a side note, I don't most people know of the Prophesy beyond the dragons and a few rare individuals... Some of the tribes know, but it even mentions that many don't in the players guide. Just a comment.

OOC: Any healers tagging along?

OOC: Some people with knowledge can, but it's certaintly not even public or common knowledge with them. There are some PrCs that follow the prophecy, and they're not easy to get into. Not telling you to take back anything, just making sure you were aware. Arvin is aware that it exists, but he's in line to be a Dragonspeaker for his tribe. And that's the sum total of what he knows beyond the Dragonmarks are involved.

"So you are headed to the docks then?" The half-elf asks, sounding weary but not overly surprised. "Well it's your funeral I guess. On the off chance you see my brother tell him Yolanda (which would be me) says not to do anything stupid. He shouldn't be hard to find, drunken half elf, dragonmark on the back of his right hand, answers to the name Caspar of d'Medani."

Outside the Shard, the sparse line of dragonmarked have largely recovered from the immediate effects of the attacks and are beggining to disperse, either by foot or by skycab. Only one cab is left without customers, run by an irritated looking hobgoblin woman. At this time of night it should be able to get you to the docks within minutes, though it's doubtful it could hold more than six people.

ooc: Looking at the players guide, knowledge of the prophecy seems to be a DC 20 Knowledge Arcana check. I'd probably add that people could get modifiers on that depending on their background, for example Arvin is far more likely to have at least a vague idea of what the prophecy is (even if he has no clue as to it's actual relationship with dragons/marks) than someone who grew up in Khorvaire, while even an educated person from Sarlona would likely know practically nothing.

Anyway, expect the adventure thread whenever I've got some free time.
