1) Is there a FAQ yet for 4E? I couldn't find one at wizards.com (I can't find anything there).

2) Does Shifting provoke Attack of Opportunities?

Thanks in advance.

The answer is no, with exceptions.

The common low level exceptions are ;

If a fighter Mark an opponent, he gets to attack him if that opponent shift away. But it's actually an immediate action, not an opportunity attack (You only get one immediate action/turn).

A warlord using Viper strike could grant an ally an AoO against his taget if he shifts away.

Shifting does not. It was designed to allow movement that doesn't provoke OA. Speaking of which, they're called opportunity attacks now.
