Sin City: A Dame to Kill For (trailer)

I would just like to point out that I'm making no value judgement of the actual film. I'm just saying that this trailer has failed to get me interested.

The first Sin City, I thought, was visually stunning. Delivering as much as possible with as little as necessary. I don't get that from this trailer. Which is weird because the same people are behind it.

And dubstep is aweful for this type of movie. Just terrible.

The Glitch Mob isn't dubstep and neither is that song.

Oh, and the trailer was terribly underwhelming. Needz moar Green.

EDIT: This is dubstep:

I guess I should have been more specific. The broken beat and electro house style commonly associated with brostep is, for my ears, inappropriate when used to score this trailer.

The Glitch Mob aren't 'brostep', either - they predate that a fair bit. I can see where you're coming from with the disconnect regarding the trailer, however. Sin City doesn't feel modern so neither should its score. I'm down, brah.

EDIT: Flux Pavilion is also most certainly dubstep. It's an interesting genre, though, in that I'm positive there are plenty of people who wouldn't categorize the tune you linked as dubstep either - I mean, I'm not one but dubstep, to some, is a hell of a lot dirtier than that. I did dig that tune, though.
