D&D 5E Sleeping in armor

So basically sleeping in armor should have no ill benefits? Interesting.

In 5e it shouldn't normally impose any penalty for a night or two. In 4e you might be down 1 healing surge. In other editions you might recover 1 less hp. Sleeping in armour for more than a few days should risk infection & other bad stuff, but a short term patrol or dungeon delve should be ok.
