[Solved] In search of a magic item...

I have been building NPCs for a dungeon I am preparing. At one point this weekend, I stumbled into a magic item that, once thrown at a target, would burst -- sucking the target into a spiral and sending its remains to the astral plane. Today, I can't seem to find such an item. Does anyone know what item I am talking about?

Please help!

PS - searching for "D&D 3.5 spiral into astral plane" has not relinquished the item...

I found the Spiralburst Bottle on page 116 of the Book of Vile Darkness.
