Spear of Wounding

Someone along the lines I created an NPC that had a Spear of Wounding +1. In my notes I wrote that the wounding property means the spear deals an extra +1 Con damage on a successful hit. I also didn't write any save DC's.

Does anyone know if this weapon appears in any 3.x books? I can't figure out where I found info about this weapon. It's been about a year since I created this NPC.

DMG pg 226 describes wounding. It's the eqv of a +2 bonus. What you described is the correct effect.
I believe wounding changed in the 3.0 to 3.5 converstion.
