Tranio and Dren make their way across the bridge, looking to see what they can see on the far side. Tranio's hands are empty. About midway, he says to Dren, "You know, you don't need to call me an 'elf' all the time; no elf would do so."

OOC: Perception [roll0]. If at disadvantage, the worse of that and [roll1].

“Wot else wuild I call ye?” Dren replied to Tranio. “Ye go’ the pointy ears.” Dren grinned at Tranio. “There’s an ol’ sayin’. ‘If it looks like an elf, an’ talks like an’ elf, an’ smells like an elf’, it pro’ly ain’t a dwarf!’” He chuckled.

Ordrar: The promise of wealth and ale causes the farmer to shut up in a hurry. First, he explains to you that the bridge crossing before was perilous. The cart caused much swaying and creaking last time. Spuds agrees that letting the villagers cross first would be best.

Fistan: The only thing you can see is the relief on Spud's face when you offer to stay with him.

Aremus: In the distance you see two bipedal forms approaching. The strangers are too tall and muscular to be humans.

Tranio: You are able to make out even more details, such as shirtless scared chests and necklaces of ears!

Dren: You still don't know what to call the pointy eared one! XD

Neurotic

I plan on living forever. Or die trying.
Ordrar organizes the townsfolk and awaits the call from the other side. He will remain guarding their back until they all cross.

Dren shook his head. “Techy. Jus’ like an elf,” he muttered, spinning his axe around his hand. Through the fog he didn’t see the approaching humanoids.

Tranio looks through the fog, and fires two closely-packed beams into the mist at the figures ahead.

His voice rises up: "Orcs!"

OOC: To hit: [roll0]. If a hit, damage = [roll1] necrotic.
If there is a second within 5', the second beam: [roll2]. If a hit, damage = [roll3] necrotic.

Distance to the end of the bridge? He's content to hold the bridge if there's more than 50' to its total length, but will move so that Dren stands in front of him.
