You will only regenerate damage taken after you shifted into a troll (converted into subdual, then regenerated). You need Fast Healing instead.

Don't forget that you can affect your items as well, they instantly adapt to your size and shape.

Pick up a short sword and turn into a storm giant. Drop sword. Instantly produce tons of steel. Or, for that matter, adamantium.

Strap on a suit of High grade magic armour and turn into a war horse. Let party take off the armour. Your Paladin now has spiffy barding for his mount.

Have a really nice scale model of a fort constructed. Turn into a storm giant again, put the fort down, turn back to the humanoid of your choice and walk inside. Who needs Drawmajijis instant tower?

Better yet. Turn into a storm Giant, Pick up a fortress belonging to someone you don't like. Turn into a pixie. Put fortress down. Turn back into the humanoid of your choice. Set tiny enemy fortress in a paper boat and give it a viking funeral.

Don't forget that you can turn into a construct. Construct includes anything that can be affected by an animate spell. Turning into a battering ram is still not recommended.

Pyrohydra and Cryohydra breath (3d6 each head) seem natural. Am I right?
If so, what about Laernan Hydra "The only way to slay a Lernaean hydra normally is to sever all its heads..."

Try the Astral Constructs from the Psionic Handbook, which you can personalize with abilities taken from a list (i.e. 10d10 temporary hp).
