OK. I have have advanced Wisco, adding one +1 INT Edge and +1 Effort.
The first decision was easy, Wisco spends more from his INT pool than any other, and Edge is the gift that just keeps giving. The second decision less so. 4 more pool points would be useful. But I wanted to be able to step the difficulty down by 2. Specialising a skill would do that (and for free!), but only in one area. So I decided to go with the riskier strategy of adding one Effort. When in doubt, throw more effort at the problem.
Took a bit of re-reading of the book to remember how everything works again. There are some pretty cool things in there. Two in particular caught my eye.
1. Seskii. Can I have one? I have no idea what the cost of it would be. Happy to trade all Wisco's bling-bling for it. It doesn't have to be particularly loyal to Wisco at this stage (ie: it keeps wondering off, it doesn't obey him, it won't fight for him). Perhaps he recused it from siskii crystal traders in town and it doesn't like humans much at the moment. Or perhaps its owes its loyalty to the Auger tree, and is following Wisco for its own reasons. You never know if you don't ask, right?
2. Oorgolian Soldiers. If I ever make another character, I want it to be an Oorgolian Soldier. Maybe as a Glaive. But not necessarily. I kind of like the idea of something like a scout or recon specialist. Something to play around with when things get quiet.
