The party slowly notices that they are surrounded by a pack of strange dragon-like creatures. Most of the party recognize these creatures as drakes, some people keep them as pets or use them as guard beasts. These particular drakes look to have escaped domestication, and they watch the party with hunger in their eyes.

A tiny creature, which the party recognixes as a Pseudodragon darts out of hiding and lashes at Kama'zer with a sting upon its tail. Fortunetly Kama'zer's armor deflects the creatures blow. Irritated it flies off swooping behind a rock and completely disappearing from the parties vision.

The two Spiretop Drakes both swoop at Kama'zer, one misses horribly and flaps back to its rock perch, the other's jaws sink into the Githyanki's cheek, it remains next to Kama'zer its throat distending as it swallows a hunk of her flesh.

Meanwhile, the hulking form of the Rage Drake moves up on Riar'lon. With an ear splitting roar the creature charges Riar'lon letting out an earsplitting roar. It rakes at the Eladrin with it claws one of which strikes home drawing blood.

The Guard Drake darts forward and lunges at Mri'thras, but misses the Gith.

Finally the Spitting Drake launches a gobbit of acid spit at Kama'zer, who is fortuitously able to dodge it.

[sblock=10 Damage to Kama'zer, 6 Damage to Riar'lon]On Kama'zer (1d20+10=14, 1d8+4=6) Stealth (1d20+10=30) SD on Kama'zer (1d20+6=7, 1d6+4=8, 1d20+6=22, 1d6+4=10) RD on Riar'lon (1d20+10=18, 1d6+4=6, 1d20+10=16, 1d6+4=8) Should both be 1 lower as I had incorrectly applied +2 for charge instead of 1.GD on M (1d20+7=12, 1d10+9=11, 1d20+7=18, 1d10+9=10) Only first counts still had roller set for 2 rolls, so miss.SD on Kama'zer vs Reflex (1d20+8=12, 1d10+4=10, 1d20+8=28, 1d10+4=7) Grr did it again! Only first counts![/sblock]

Targeting the biggest threat, Callen steps back towards the tree behind him and sends a magic missile at the rage drake. The single rune streaks out from the end of his staff and hits the drake straight on the face.

Mri'Thas takes a step back (15 F) and (provokes) puts his hands together and as he separates them, a charged sphere of electricity appears in the gap. The wizard shouts into the sphere and a whip-crack of sonic power lashes up from the ground, projecting towards both drakes (13 G and 12 J).
The sonic pulse repels the creatures two squares. The githyanki then takes a telepathic leap (using an AP), flying diagonally to the south-east over Callen, up to six squares in that direction and lands.
