Likewise. One of the first Dragon issues I ever bought had Spike Y. Jones' "The Ecology of the Manticore," and I thought "What a great way to pass on information about D&D monsters!" I purchased a subscription soon after, and before long was submitting my own "Ecology" articles to Dragon.I much prefer the 'fiction & footnotes' type of Ecology article because that's how they appeared in the old (1E & 2E) issues of Dragon and that's what got me hooked to it.
