Round 6 Begins

Ishmael's slash deals 5 damage, and the Redcap hardly notices it compared to Nars's devestating attack.

Turning to the source of his change in fortune, the Redcap strikes out at Nars and hits him for 18 damage.

Persephones words don't seem to even get the Redcap's attention in the heat of battle, but she follows them up with a magical blast of power dealing 7 damage.

Rodimus drops to -8 hit points.

Gorefoot is up next!

The redcaps strike cuts into Nars, ignoring his armor and attempts to dodge. By force of will alone he remains on his feet. With a cry that is little more than a gurgle, Nars lunges forward striking with both blades simultaneously. Felhunter strikes true again, while his dagger finds nothing but air. As he yanks Felhunter free, he stumbles back, ready to continue the fight, sort of.

OOC: Full attack

secondary attack (1d20+7=11, 1d4+2d6+1=11)

OOC: I'm checking out for the long weekend. I'm heading up to Portland to run a marathon. Percy will try to get Rodimus revived, then go back to her regularly scheduled tactics of magic missiles (with a move action to retreat behind a tree), and turning invisible if threatened. It might not even be necessary. We've got some good rolls going here, guys!

Round 6 Concludes

Gorefoot once again misses the Redcap.

Nars deals 25 damage with another deadly blow of the fey bane sword. Unable to withstand Nars' repeated stabbings, the Redcap falls dead before the dwarven rogue's assault.

Ishmael's warcries are silenced at the Redcap's falls. It takes a moment for the Deep Halfling to grasp the enormity of the situation and the defeat of their tenacious foe.

"Huzzah! Our foe is felled by purple fire and enspelled iron! Three cheers for the Dwarf and the Sorceress!"

Seeing the redcap slump to the ground, Nars drops to his knees, dropping his dagger but maintaining his grasp on Felhunter. He scrambles forward til he is kneeling over the redcap, eyeing the beast warily. Then he abruptly reverses his grip on Felhunter and drives the point down with both hands squarely into the chest of their fallen adversary. He wishes to be absolutely certain that the beast is slain.

After a moment, he comes back to reality, wrenching the blade free, cleaning it on the grass, and inquiring, "Percy, er, is Rodimus ... ok?"
