It's up to $7 here in California.

At the stage of inflation we are in, I pick up only, and refuse to tip anyone but in a sit down restaurant.

One dollar. Seriously. And yes, I tip the driver.

Admittedly, it's not very good pizza and the place is literally close enough to walk to, but still a bargain. And they charge the same even to drive out to the next town over, so distance is not a factor.

The rest of their Italian stuff's much better, so functionally it's a pasta delivery fee.

I gave up on delivery ages ago. Why pay a fee when you can just drive over there for a less than a dollar of gas, including wear and tear? And you don't have to wait for them to deliver to three people before you while your pizza gets cold. It is a bit worse for the environment, but not enough for me to give up a cheaper, quicker, fresher pizza.

I cracked a groan worthy LOTR meme joke the other day with my son back in the house and eating everything in sight.

Upon seeing the single steak going for $20, more than double what it would have been only a couple years ago.

"Looks like meat is off the menu boy!"
